The Chop Shop is excited to expand our Culinary Kids programs with a new collection of culinary mini-camps, Scout programs, and birthday parties. We are conveniently located in the Rail District of Birmingham.
Culinary Kids Camps
Our two-day mini-camps give you the flexibility you need without being locked into a long and expensive program. We have themed programs like Mexican Fiesta, Italian Extravaganza, and All-American Culinary Adventures that your child will love. Each mini-camp includes instruction, hands on cooking, sampling, recipes and take-home treats. Priced affordably, each program is just $60 for three hours (2 sessions at 90 minutes each) of kitchen fun that is just what your budding chef, ages 8 and up, wants. Scouts
Our Scouting programs are fun and packed with great information for kids. Kids love our retro inspired kitchen making seasonal entrees, decadent desserts or specific requirements for badge programs for Brownies, Jr. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cadets. Prices vary depending on the program. We have an 8 scout minimum with prices starting at $25 per scout.
Birthday Parties
Do you have a budding chef who would love a birthday party at the Chop Shop? We'll make the birthday chef feel special with a customized party. All parties are priced at $250 for a 90 minute party. For up to 8 children (ages 8 and up), $30 for each additional child. We supply chef hats, food & drinks and a special Chop Shop Souvenir apron for the birthday child. You supply the cake and/or we can supply cupcakes for the kids to decorate and enjoy for an additional $5./child.
